Welcome

Hi, I'm Wes Dudley

Throughout my life, I've been blessed with an incredible family, lifelong friendships, and a career centered on serving others through leadership. In 2025, my life changed forever. After surviving multiple cardiac arrests and a long journey of recovery, I was diagnosed with kidney failure. Today, I am waiting for the greatest gift one person can give another, the gift of life through a living kidney donation.

While this website will continue to grow and share my leadership journey, my experiences, and the lessons I've learned, today it serves a much more personal purpose.

I'm searching for a living kidney donor.

Could You Help Save My Life?

One of the biggest misconceptions about kidney donation is that you must have the same blood type as the recipient. That isn't always the case. People with any blood type may be able to help save my life. Even if you are not a direct match, you may still be able to participate through a paired kidney exchange program, allowing your donation to help someone else while another compatible donor helps me.

The first step is simply completing a confidential living donor evaluation. Completing the questionnaire does not obligate you to donate. It simply allows the transplant team to determine whether you could be a potential match.

If you would like to learn more or begin the evaluation process, please visit:

When completing the evaluation, please use the following information:

  • Recipient Name: Emmett Wesley Dudley III

  • Date of Birth: February 23, 1967

Why Living Kidney Donation Matters

The human body is remarkable. Most people are born with two kidneys, but a healthy person can live a full, active, and healthy life with just one kidney. Living kidney donors are carefully evaluated to ensure donation is medically appropriate, and they continue to lead normal lives, working, exercising, traveling, raising families, and enjoying the things they love.

Living donor kidneys also tend to function longer and begin working sooner than kidneys from deceased donors. Most importantly, they offer someone like me the opportunity to return to a healthier, more active life with the people I love.

Whether You Donate or Simply Share

I understand that living donation isn't the right choice for everyone, and I respect that completely.

If donating isn't something you can do, you can still make an incredible difference by sharing my story with your family, friends, coworkers, church, or social media. The right person may hear about my journey because you chose to pass it along.

Every conversation matters.

Every share matters.

Every act of kindness creates hope.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website, learn about my journey, and consider helping. Your prayers, encouragement, and support mean more to me and my family than words can express.

With gratitude,

Wes Dudley
